Neuadd Wen is a good base for visiting many local attractions.

The popular resort of Benllech is only two miles away, with a sandy beach, shopping, takeaways, restaurants, tennis and golf. It can also be reached by walking over the sands of Red Wharf Bay at low tide.

There are the castle, beach, boating and fishing opportunities only 7 miles away at Beaumaris. Other castles are nearby on the mainland at Conwy and Caernarfon.

The many Anglesey beaches, such as Llandonna, Lligwy, Cemaes Bay, Newborough (Llanddwyn), Aberffraw, Rhosneigr, Treaddur Bay, Rhoscolyn and the cliffs at South Stack, Holyhead.
Golf courses at Beaumaris, Brynteg (Benllech), Bull Bay, Llangefni, Llandaniel (with driving range), and Holyhead.

Many other local attractions, such as Anglesey Sea Zoo (Brynsiencyn) and Anglesey Racetrack (Ty Croes).

National Trust houses at Plas Newydd (Llanfairpwll) and Penrhyn Castle (on the mainland near Bangor).
