Oban is 29 miles to the north for trips to Mull, Iona and Staffa, or a return dinner sail to Colonsay. Campbeltown is just over an hours drive south
with Gigha[god's Island] worth a visit from Tayinloan. There are many more places of interest around, and the festivals at Tarbert are always worth a visit. Castles and gardens for a day out abound, good local food is plentiful and the sun sets facing Glebe View.
