The cottages sit round the perimeter of an enclosed 0.5 acre grounds with antique farm vehicle feature orchard and lawn amidst pasture land affording plenty of space for tranquil relaxation yet within 15 miles of both the beautiful city of Chester and Liverpool vibrant city of culture. Contrasting cities they offer a huge range of year round attractions: Liverpool’s Albert Dock is a UNESCO World Heritage site home to the Tate Liverpool art gallery the International World Slavery Museum among many and the Beatles Story. Chester boasts Roman city walls lovely riverside terraces designer shopping and a world famous zoo. Sandy beaches lie 6 miles away at West Kirby also site of a marine lake for windsurfing and the Wirral Country Park provides miles of scenic walking and cycling whilst further afield Snowdonia and the Lake District make great day trips. Parkgate (1 mile) offers restaurants café three pubs a general store and superb ice cream.
