Comfortable traditional cottage built circa 1850 in the pretty village of Trefriw. Trefriw is an ideal base for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and North Wales, and only 4 miles from the busier and better known village of Betws-y-Coed � enjoy the buzz of Betws-y-Coed and then retreat to picturesque Trefriw!
There are many walks from the cottage including the Trefriw Trails which cover everything from an evening stroll up to a full day�s walk up to Llyn Cowlyd and Capel Curig beyond. For mountain bikers, the Marin Trail is nearby together with lots of forest tracks to explore. Bikes can be stored in the shed.
It is also an ideal base for visiting the many local attractions including Bodnant Gardens, the Victorian resort of Llandudno and in Trefriw itself a working Woollen Mill or take the waters at a Roman spa.
There are two bedrooms sleeping up to 3 people. The main bedroom is a generous size and has a super-king size bed OR twin beds. The second bedroom is a single room.
There are a number of pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the cottage and sample menus are included in the welcome folder.
The cottage has views over the beautiful Conwy Valley. Relax by sitting in the garden in the evenings, enjoy a glass of wine and gaze across the fields where there are often sheep grazing.
For the comfort of guests, the cottage is no smoking and no pets are permitted.

Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped and should contain everything you would find in a normal domestic kitchen. There is an electric oven with 4 ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and plenty of pots & pans for cooking. There is a good supply of crockery, cutlery and glasses, etc. The kitchen also contains a washing machine. There is a rotary line for the garden and a clothes horse.
Living Room
The living room has a wood burning stove for cosy evenings, comfortable seating including a sofa and armchair, and a coffee table. There is a colour TV with DVD player (bring your favourite films) and a CD player/radio. The living room also has a dining table and chairs.
Other Rooms
Bathroom - The bathroom contains a good sized shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin together with a shaver point. No bath! Towels are provided.
