The area around 'Helford Point' is one of outstanding natural beauty and has excellent coastal walks. A footpath close to the house leads directly to Prisk Beach and to Mawnan Church.
The attractive village of Mawnan Smith, less than a mile away, offers a variety of shops, doctor's surgery , post office, an Italian Restaurant and an attractive thatched inn.
The beautiful gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan are a short distance away, as is the Helford Passage, where boats can be hired or a foot ferry ride taken to Helford Village. Budock Vean golf course (9 hole) and Falmouth Golf Course (18 Hole) are also near by.
Falmouth, the home of the new National Maritime Museum, Truro and Helston are all easily accessible.
