Just over 2 miles away are glorious sandy beaches at Treyarnon Bay and Constantine and the Camel cycle trail follows the river from Padstow to Wadebridge (9 miles by road) and on to Bodmin. Watergate Bay water sports centre Trerice and Lanhydrock (both N.T.) and the Eden Project are a short drive. Pub and shop in holiday village or St Merryn 1 mile.
