This detached 2 bedroom/1 bathroom lodge is ideal for smaller groups of guests sleeping up to 4 persons in comfort in a double and twin bedroom.
The lodge has a full kitchen and its own separate laundry with washer and dryer. A comfortable lounge and dining area give space to relax and it has a south facing balcony to sit on and enjoy the sunsets. This lodge also has a private garden/orchard area with a picnic table - barbeques are available on request.
All heating, linen, use of leisure facilities on site and at Armathwaite hall hotel are included in our tariff - we can offer a discount for guests who provide their own linen - please ask at time of booking.
We are in a small village 9 miles south of Carlisle looking towards the fells of the northern part of the national park in an area of unspoilt beauty. Next door to us we have a pub/restaurant "the royal oak" - an ideal way to end your day.
The lake district, Hadrian’s wall, Gretna green and the Scottish borders are all nearby. The towns of Carlisle, Penrith, Keswick and the unspoilt north west coast can easily be visited from our site.
A short journey from us gives a tremendous choice of local eateries - we have details of these and will offer advice depending on the type of food you require - Carlisle has a vast choice of shopping and nightlife - only a 15 minute taxi ride.
We are surrounded by quiet country lanes that lend themselves to walking and biking and wildlife watching.
