This traditional semi detached 19th century cottage is situated in a quiet, rural position with views of the Lake District fells and Langdale Pikes in the distance.
The cottage is approached down a private drive, a fields distance from the road, making it secluded and quiet and yet it is only 1½ miles north of the mediaeval market town of Kendal, known as the Gateway to the Lakes.
The cottage is on the edge of the Lake District National Park which makes it ideally situated for exploring Windermere (8 miles), Ambleside and the central Lake District. The valleys of Longsleddale and Kentmere are only 4 miles away and they offer dramatic scenery, good walking and birdwatching - buzzards are often seen circling the hills opposite the cottage.
Ten miles east brings you to Sedbergh and the Yorkshire Dales National Park
