The Holmes Barn is a newly refurbished barn conversion which forms part of a traditional Derbyshire stone longhouse.
It can sleep up to 16 in 4 bedrooms and downstairs separate futon bed/sleeping area if needed.
There is a fully fitted kitchen with all you could possibly need for a weekend away, and our prices include all heating, electricity, bedding and towels. Hulmes Vale House has stunning views across Tideswell moor and is the perfect place for either a quiet getaway or large party.
We are situated for easy access to many of the Peak Districts attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Castleton and many of the areas pretty villages. Also within a 1.5 hour drive is Alton Towers.

The newly refurbished kitchen has all you could need for 16 and is fitted with an all electric range style cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is ample pots, pans, cutlery etc and if needed in the drying room there is extra fridge, freezer room available. | | |
In the large open plan living/dining area you have ample seating and a downstairs cloakroom. To one end is a futon bed which can be screened off for privacy if used as a bed area. The already large dining table can be extended to seat up to 20 easily. There is a TV with DVD/Video player and a radio/CD player. The cottage is fully centrally heated throughout and the living area also has an electric log effect fire. | | |
To the side of the cottage is a storage/drying room which has extra fridge, freezer space if needed and a games table for ping pong, table football etc. |
