The Cremyll Ferry takes passengers from the opposite side of the Stonehouse creek across the River Tamar to Mount Edgecombe where there is a pub, the Orangery cafe and ornamental gardens. Mount Edgecombe Park is open to the public and the coastal path takes walkers around the west side of Plymouth Sound to the villages of Kingsand and Cawsand.
Plymouth has a new shopping area, the Drakes Circus, and many other shops in the pedestrianized town centre. There are many bars, cafes, and restaurants in the city centre and in the historic waterside Barbican area. As well as the attractions of Plymouth the apartment is an approx 45 min drive to the remarkable Eden Project.
The Pavillions near the city centre offers leisure swimming, ice skating and concerts.
