Poole Park is a short walk eastwards. Childrens play areas (one indoors), ice skating rink, Cafe, Restaurant, Miniature Railway, Boat and Sailing Lake.
Other significant amenities within walking distance include Train & Bus Station, Arts Centre, Swimming Pool and Library.
A short drive away are Pooles famous Blue Flag beaches and the Purbecks including Corfe Castle.
