Charming traditional stone cottage at the heart of the original fishing village close to harbour and marina.
The cottage has a comfortable double bedroom and bedroom with bunk beds on the middle floor and a twin bedroom on the top floor. Good size lounge and dining area, tastefully decorated, leading to a well-equipped kitchen. Outside, there is a large paved garden, ideal for evening barbeques and to enjoy a glass of wine with the catch of the day!
A perfect base to explore the seaside town of Weymouth, the dramatic Portland peninsula, World Heritage Coast and Dorset countryside.
The harbour, Brewer�s Quay, bistros and bars are a short walk away and the Nothe is nearby offering gentle walks, stunning views, Newton�s Cove for swimming and the pier for fishing. Excellent shopping facilities in easy reach and the town centre, main seafront and beach are just over the town bridge.
The owners aim to make visitors feel relaxed and at home to ensure they can make the most of their holiday in Weymouth. To this end the cottage and its facilities are good quality, well maintained, attractive and comfortable. This approach is underpinned by a commitment to ethical and sustainable sourcing. Fair-trade furnishings and environmentally friendly furniture, appliances and products have been provided where possible.

Garden and outhouse - There is a large patio garden that catches the last sunshine of the day. A wonderfully comfortable hammock provides a restful spot to enjoy a glass of wine. The garden has pretty pots of flowers, fsc table/chairs and a BBQ, perfect for fresh fish! The outhouse is equipped with a washing machine and provides storage space for guest�s bicycles, surf boards or fishing equipment. |
