Originally two small houses, the cottage has separate lounge and dining rooms, and there are two separate staircases to the bedrooms.
The lounge has a solid fuel stove, TV, hifi and leather suite. The dining room has a solid fuel Rayburn. There are fantastic walks nearby, including routes along the Weardale Way, and from here you can easily visit Cumbria, Northumberland or North Yorkshire all within a 40 mile drive.
For summer visitors, there is a lovely sheltered cottage garden.
