Harness Cottage is a barn conversion on a small arable and sheep farm. With wonderful views over the rolling Essex countryside, The market town of Saffron Walden with its medieval buildings and plenty of shops to browse. Duxford Air Museum, Cambridge, Newmarket and London all within easy reach.
The area has a selection of "olde worlde" pubs including The Cricketers in Clavering
(Jamie Olivers family home) to provide you with a wonderful evening out. The local fishing lakes with fisherman's lodge are perfect for a light lunch or afternoon tea with home made cakes.(¾miles)
The garden has a patio, garden furniture, barbecue and garden games provided for you to relax. This area has a child proof fence. Beyond this area a wild life pond has just been created. In Spring lambs may be seen playing in the fields, Wild deer are often seen in the fields surrounding the property.
There are some great walks along to footpaths and byways, a book of history walks in Clavering written by a resident of the village is provided in the cottage along with local map of the area. Grass margins around the fields are there for you to take a stroll and watch the wonderful sunsets.
We have furnished this property to a high standard providing 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 en-suite (1 with whirpool bath perfect to relax in after a busy day out). All Linen and towels are provided and changed weekly.
Children are welcome and a cot, high chair and stair gate are available.

The Large lounge has oak flooring with underfloor heating. 2 large sofas and 2 arm chairs. The oak furniture includes coffee table, nest of tables and a console table. Teletext TV provided with remote control, DVD player (some DVDs provided) stereo with CD and tape also provided. A log effect fire is there for your use. Patio door into large landscaped garden.
