Dornoch has a lovely sandy beach interesting shops and a well known cathedral. Dunrobin Castle with its fairytale turrets and beautiful gardens is 14 miles. The Falls of Shin (11.5 miles) where ‘Harrods’ have their other shop and restaurant is a good place to watch salmon leaping upstream and the lovely Castle of Mey (the former holiday home of the late Queen Mother) makes a good day trip. Trainlink – Rogart is a requested stop (2 miles). Shop and pub 2 miles.
