The Corner Town House is located in a quiet street where you can park your car. The house is a traditional small town terraced property - I have tried to retain all the little quirks and character of the house but upgraded the space by adding an extension at the rear of the property and installing gas central heating and a modern fully equipped kitchen, a super ensuite and a very easily used shower room which is great for the kids or lesser able folk.
The house has a lovely Lounge, with Plasma TV and Sky Family Viewing Package; the Kitchen has a dining area with table and chairs for six people. The downstairs single bedroom is popular with aunts, uncles, grans, grandpas or just the babysitter. The downstairs area of the house may be suitable for some lesser abled people, open plan shower room and all the rooms are on the level of this room. (Not suitable for wheelchairs, sorry). Upstairs the master bedroom is fine to get away from the kiddies, you have your own ensuite with double ended bath, two sinks, toilet, bidet, etc. You can easily listen out for the kiddies as the twin room and the single are opposite the master bedroom. There is a small grass garden with patio area.
Close to the house is the Pulteneytown Distillery (5 mins stroll) have the tour and they even give you a wee nip to try out the produce! Again just 5 mins from the house is the children’s playing park, trampolines, crazy golf. Also you can visit the Castle of Mey, Wick Heritage Centre.

L shaped room fully equipped to a high standard with the usual appliances and many other bits of kitchen equipment we think you may need while visiting. The business end of the kitchen is well laid out: freezer, fridge, dishwasher, electric cooker and hob, combination microwave, extractor fan and cupboards for storage. The dining area has a cabinet which contains many items you may need, cutlery, glassware, baking items, etc. The table will easily seat up to six. Chinaware, glassware and cutlery provided to enable you to cater for up to eight. Combination Gas Boiler provides your central heating and hot water. | | |
Lounge has a three piece lounge suite, tall cabinet housing TV, DVD/Video Player, Sky Digi Box, videos, Dvd's. CD's, books etc. There is also a corner unit with ornaments, books, games etc. The Lounge has a nice mantlepiece with an electric glow fire for the evenings to give a nice cozy feel. You will be really warm as the central heating keeps the house very comfortable. | | |
The open plan wet room/shower room which is great fun for the kids and very convenient for adults. There is hand basin, shaver socket, mirror, wall cupboard, radiator/cabinet, toilet, bidet, etc. The whole room is tiled for ease of use. Anyone with health/mobility issues can give a call before booking to be sure this will suit them, we can provide a riser seat for the toilet, and shower seating. |
