Ramsgate is increasingly popular with families and there are restaurants and bars to suit every taste. Antique shops with scrimshore fill the harbour arches around Britain's only Royal Harbour.
Seal-spotting and fishing trips start from the harbour and you can walk to the Viking ship at Pegwell.A short drive away is the Hornby trainset exhibition and the Manston Spitfire and Hurricane Museum. There is a shopping complex at Westwood Cross with all of the usual chainstores. Broadstairs is within walking distance and has a Dickensian charm with live music and Italian recipe ice-cream.
Thanet offers a host of entertainment from a wealth of clean sandy beaches, seal-spotting, fishing, arcades, bingo and a casino. Margate's Winter Gardens and The Turner Gallery provide free entertainment.

The kitchen is full-fitted with easy clean hob and oven. The units are new and clean, with a family-sized fridge and separate freezer. There is plenty of crockery so breakages are not a problem. There is a dining table for 4.
Living Room
The living room is large and spacious with three windows looking directly out to sea. There is a comfortable sofa and seating. The decor is light and airy and on hot days, windows can be opened to the back and front to provide a through-draft.
