By encouraging sustainable practices the scheme ensures the continued enjoyment around us for future generations.
We provide info. on walking and cycling both in Pendle and the Forest of Bowland, and promote the "monthly walks".
We promote the use of local produce and supplies.
We recycle glass, plastic tin and paper and encourage our guests to help us.

The kitchen is open plan and has an electric oven and hob. A fridge with freezer box, microwave oven, electric kettle and toaster and a slow cooker. Cutlery, crockery and pans and all you would expect to find in a self catering cottage.

Two comfortable fireside chairs and footstools. Large upholstered window seat. Coffee table, magazine and folder rack. Colour television with DVD player. There is an original Yorkist Range in full working order.

Entrance to the cottage is via a galleried hallway which has a tiled floor where you can leave your walking shoes.
