Note: The normal changeover day is Saturday but this is flexible as short breaks are available.
The cottage is situated in a one acre garden with good parking facilities. It is warm and well decorated. We are within six miles of our Fairtrade Town (Garstang) where there is a street market each Thursday throughout the year.
Lancaster City is half an hour drive away with many interesting places to visit.
To the east Longridge is our nearest town where you can do your shopping. There are local butchers selling meat from their own farms, a good bakery, two supermarkets and coffee shops.
Further to the east is the old market town of Clitheroe with its Norman castle. You could choose to visit the Yorkshire Dales, Harrogate, York. All these places are within easy reach.
There are wonderful eating places from British, Italian, Indian, Chinese, and good old fish and chips.
Your holiday home has uninterrupted views over Beacon Fell Country where you can walk , cycle, or just have a coffee and take in the views.

Kitchen
The kitchen is white and overlooks the patio area. Cooking is by electricity. Everything is provided to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. It has a pine table with ample seating. There is also a full sized fridge.
Living Room
The living room looks over the garden, it has a DVD player, Television, enough seating for three people to relax. There is also a pine dresser in there. The heating is by Gas, there are no open fires. The whole place is fully carpeted and decorated to a very high standard.
Other Rooms
There is a utility room with a washer and also a freezer for guests use. There are drying facilities in the garden (clothes line) and also in the utility room. This is accessed from outside.
