This former gatehouse has been carefully updated to provide extremely comfortable self catering accommodation. It is attached to the farmhouse of The Elms Farm, a working farm in the heart of Leicestershire. The farm combines around 70 head of cattle with about 150 acres of arable land. There's often much to see with calves being born throughout the year.
The cottage is entered via a garden room which is a real sun-trap. At one end of this are the laundry facilities comprising a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The lounge leads onto the peaceful double bedroom furnished with a large dressing table, mirror, lamps and bed-side table. Attached to the bedroom is the dressing room with plenty of wardrobe space and a supply of extra bedding.
The dressing room leads onto a large, stylish bathroom equipped with a shower cubicle and the all important power shower.
We would love to keep our property in the excellent condition it is in. Therefore, in the interest of comfort and safety for everyone, we ask our guests to respect our no smoking policy in the cottage.
Pets are welcome with prior arrangement, but request that they are kept in the garden room during their stay.
Our large garden and patio is available for the use of our guests, should you wish to relax with a glass of wine as the sun sets over the fields.
There is plenty of room to park your car outside the cottage, and you are welcome to leave your car at the farm should you wish to go exploring.
