Shorelines accommodation is situated on the shoreline in the small village of Finstown( 6 miles from the main towns of Kirkwall and Stromness). The property has a private walled garden with views across the bay, perfect for birdwatching or just taking in the sunsets. The living/kitchen area has a beautiful glass end and a high ceiling with a pine beam and modern suspended lighting. Patio doors lead you out on to wooden decking which in turn leads to the garden, there is an outside table and chairs and also a barbecue area at the end of the garden so that you can enjoy a long Orkney summer evening outside or inside at your leisure.
There is underfloor heating throughout the property,this can be ajusted in each room and light coloured wooden floors give the house a nice contemporary feel. There are two bedrooms, one twin bedroom and one double bedroom with en-suite facilities. Each room is tastefully decorated with matching bed covers and cushions.Towels are provided.There is also a bathroom with a bath and shower and an extra large towel rail to keep your towels nice and cosy.
The sitting/dining/kitchen area is at the glass end of the building.This looks over Finstown Bay.
The rooms are decorated tastefully with paintings and other crafty items chosen by Jane.
There is a ramp into the property and there is private parking situated right next to the entrance of the property.

Kitchen
The kitchen is part of the living/dining area which has the beautiful glass end leading out to views across the bay. It is equipped with a built in cooker,dishwasher,washer/dryer,fridge/freezer, and microwave. Seating is provided next to the breakfast bar area so that the cook doesnt feel left out while cooking! A high ceiling with a modern wooden beam and suspended lighting makes this part of the house a special room to be in!
Living Room
The living room looks out on to Finstown bay, there is one large leather sofa which seats five people and a smaller two seater leather sofa on the opposite side of the room. A large digital tv and dvd player sits in the one corner of the room and there is a choice of several dvd films to watch. There is also a radio/cd player available. The floors are a light pine. The walls are a nice bright white and are tastefully decorated with paintings and prints.
