The Studio is in the Exmoor National Park, and is part of a grade II listed Farmhouse. It is situated on the first floor giving wonderful views over the lake.
A moment's walk away there are facilities for fishing, daily and weekly passes available, all sorts of water sports, and beautiful walks over Haddon Hill and around the Lake.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are very welcome; they will enjoy plenty of secure space.
Brompton Regis has its own pub, serving food, and a shop. Pulham's Mill is nearby, with a craft centre and provides a good Sunday lunch.
Dulverton, only five miles away boasts the 2008 Pub of the Year - Woods, as well as a Thai restaurant, traditional tearooms and a delicatessen. There are also a selection of interesting shops.
Further afield, Dunster has a National Trust castle to visit, and Minehead, with great beaches, has its very own Butlin's!
There is a riding centre and the Exmoor Pony Centre nearby.
Porlock with Andrew's on the Weir, Lynton and Lynmouth are places of interest to visit. Of course, this is all 'Lorna Doone' country.

The 'state of the art' kitchen is equipped with a three ring electric halogen hob, large oven, fridge with freezer and an integrated Smeg dishwasher. The Studio caters for four people and the many pots and pans support all kinds of cooking. On arrival, there will be a complementary home-made loaf and a bottle of wine for our guests. | | |
This beautiful barn has a double aspect floor-to-ceiling window outlook, is fully furnished with a large sofa-bed, two leather recliner chairs, bar dining area, kitchen, outside deck overlooking the lake, and a fenced garden area.
There is a 27" TV with Sky, DVD player, digital radio with ipod attachment, and electric stone fire.
There is also a selection of books, games and reference material for your stay. A small safe will house any valuables. | | |
The hall, with stairs leading up to the Studio, is equipped with a washing machine and spin dryer, and plenty of room for wet clothes and muddy boots. |
