Spring cottage is in an enclosed yard, which has plenty of room for parking, near Springfield House, a large country house set in 8 acres of beautiful Somerset countryside. The main house is a family home although chickens and dogs are part of the domestic scene.
This part of Somerset is ideal for bird lovers, walkers, cyclists, fishing, golf or for those who wish to visit the many sites of historical and international interest, including Historic Wells (smallest city in England), Glastonbury and Bath are only a short drive away.
Longleat House (Centre Parcs), Stourhead and the famous Fleet Air arm museum at Yeovilton are all within half an hours drive.
The visitor is really spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out as the area is blessed with many country pubs restaurants including one in the village of Evercreech which is a mile away from the quiet hamlet of Stoney Stratton. Each season brings its own natural beauty and any time is perfect to visit this part of Somerset, therefore we are open all year and short breaks or weekends have become quite popular.
Spring cottage has a small garden to the front with garden furniture and barbeque enabling the visitor to enjoy the long summer evenings.

There is a remote control T.V. with freeview, Video and a mini Hi-fi system. In the dining area is an oak finish dining table and chairs, with occasional tables, lamps and dresser.
