This is a large room with an open brick built fireplace made from materials reclaimed from a 15th century barn and 18th century chapel. It has a two seater sofa, rocking chair and other chairs. There is also a welsh dresser containing crockery and other items for use throughout the cottage. It is important to note that there is no television as we consider it would destroy the sense of peace and history that envelopes the cottage. There is, however, an FM radio, mini-disc and CD player and portable DVD player with a stock of CDs, tapes and DVDs. There is also large stock of books and games. |
