West Burton is a quiet village with no through traffic, there is a large village green around which can be found the village pub which serves good food, village shop (open 6 days a week), family butchers, cat pottery & picture gallery.
Many walks can be started directly from the property. Nearby is the village of Aysgarth with its dramatic waterfalls on the River Ure.
Many other attractions for both young & older visitors can be found within easy travelling distance.
The Mill was originally constructed to grind corn for the village, at latter stages it was used to provide electricity to the local area and was finally converted into five individual, comfortable apartments in the 1970's.
Car parking is provided on the Mill site.
The lounge is carpeted and has a sofa and armchair, pine bookcase and dresser. Soft lighting adds to the relaxing atmosphere created by the colours and soft furnishings used.
The kitchen is fitted with cooker & hob, fridge, microwave and table & chairs together with a full range of utensils.
The bedroom is a double and there is a large wardrobe and antique pine dressing table. It is quite soperific lying in bed listening to the beck below the window. The bathroom has both bath & shower, shaver point and heated towel rail. All heating is provided by night storage heaters and is included in the price.
