This charming and cosy stone cottage has been restored to a very high standard and combines traditional features such as beams and open fireplaces with all the comforts of modern living such as underfloor heating, dishwasher, washer dryer and whirlpool bath to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Attractively furnished and decorated in warm and inviting colours, Thorpe Cottage has everything you need for a truly memorable holiday.
It has two bedrooms and sleeps four - a double room with king-size bed and a twin with two singles - both rooms have sturdy pine-beds with plump locally made Dales mattresses.
The cottage is located just a few minutes walk away from Masham's bustling market square which plays host to weekly markets, speciality markets and the famous sheep fair held every September.
Masham is a thriving community and has a host of interesting shops to browse in as well as a number of cafes, great pubs and several restaurants. It is also home to two breweries - Theakstons and The Black Sheep - which visitors can look round and sample the award-winning ales.
There are plenty of local walks to suit ramblers and strollers alike. Golf, Riding, Fishing, Canoeing, Tennis and Swimming are all available nearby.

There is a separate dining area where you can eat, listen to music on the stereo/cd player, read some of the many books in the cottage or play a selection of board games.
