The cottage was built in the late 18th century for Millworkers as well as to house the weaving equipment that supported the main watermill business of milling corn. It remained a working mill up until c. 1900. With delightful views over the millstream to the gardens and woods beyond, the cottage accommodates up to 4 people Off the hall are stairs with handrail that lead to 2 bedrooms both furnished with pine furniture - 1 double with fourposter bed and 1 twin bedded room (3' wide beds). Both rooms have electric heaters. There is a bathroom with bath and shower over, sink and heated towel rail. There is a separate toilet. The cottage has oak beams throughout and has leaded double glazed windows. There is a cot and highchair available. Bed Linen and cottage electricity is inclusive. There is a communal laundry facility c.15 metres away situated beside the communal patio/seating areas that is beside the millstream. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer which have coin operated meters. There is an iron and ironing board in the cottage.

Kitchen
There is a well equipped fitted kitchen with electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is a fridge/ freezer. Stainless steel pans, crockery, cooking utensils and cutlery are provided.
Living Room
Entered through an external slate roofed porch, the lounge is carpeted with a suite of furniture and fitted units with TV., radio, tape/cd player; DVD/video player. There is a dining table and chairs at the far end which leads off to the kitchen. It has a woodburning stove set in a Cornish inglenook fireplace and downstairs has the benefit of electric nightstore heaters that provide comfortable background heating.
