Argyll View Cottage is part of a traditional Scottish house built circa 1835 on the beautiful banks of Loch Long in the village of Arrochar. Arrochar has lots to offer such as walking, fishing and climbing. Nearby Loch Lomond has various water sports and golf available, or you can relax and take a cruise. Helensburgh is a short drive away or you can visit Oban, Inverary or Dunoon all within easy reach from Arrochar. Arrochar is just 45 minutes from Glasgow in the heart of Scotlands First National Park in an area of mountains called The Arrochar Alps, so it makes Argyll View Cottage a cosy retreat amongst the mountains. The Cottage is also an ideal base for walkers as it is within easy reach of Ben Ime, Vorlich, Narnain, Vane, Arthur and A'Chrois, the village and surrounding areas are also ideal for low level walks. Within the village there are nearby Restaurants, Shops & Pubs all within walking distance. There is also a train station in nearby Tarbet, so why not take a trip to Fort William or Mallaig and see the fantastic views on this superb journey.
