Situated in the heart of the Trossachs town of Callander, guests have the convenience of Callander’s wide variety of shops, restaurants & cafes right on the doorstep. It is a two bedroomed property - twin room to the front and a double room to the rear, and has gas central heating throughout. All bed linen and towels are included in the tariff, along with a starter supply of tea, coffee and milk on arrival. There is a small gravelled outside area to the rear with a shed - handy for storing bikes, outdoor gear etc. We can provide private parking adjacent to the property. Within an easy five minute walk guests can enjoy The Rob Roy Visitor Centre, the Toy Museum, local Library with internet access, Callander Golf Club (18 Hole), Crags Woodland Walks, Callander Bowling Green, the Meadows with play park and the beautiful River Teith. The McLaren Leisure Centre with swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and climbing wall is also nearby. The start of the Callander to Killin cycleway is close by and bicycles can be hired at the hire shop beside the Rob Roy Information Centre. Choice abounds for hill walkers with 20-30 ‘Munros’ within an hour by car. An ideal base to explore the stunning scenery and historic attractions belonging to Scotland’s first National Park and beyond: Stirling 16 miles, Glasgow 42 miles, 51 Edinburgh miles, Dundee 60 miles, Oban 72 miles.
