Other municipal courses are within close proximity of Ashgrove House such as Belleisle, Lochgreen, Seafield and Darley. Ashgrove House is also ideal for tourers and walkers who wish to discover the beautiful Ayrshire coast. Places of interest include Burns Cottage, the Tam O'Shanter Inn, Ayr River Walk and Ayr Racecourse which hosts the Scottish Grand National and the Gold Cup.
