Bwthyn y Cwm is a traditional stone built cottage situated in the peaceful village of Penmachno, four miles from the famous tourist centre of Betws y Coed. The comfortable accommodation comprises: Open plan lounge/diner and kitchen area, three piece suite, electric fire, sky television, dvd and video, books and tourist information. Dining area with seating for four. Well equipped kitchen including cooker, fridge, microwave and toaster etc. The modern bathroom is on the ground floor. On the first floor there is one double bedroom and one twin. The local pub is just a three minute walk away and Betws y Coed has restaurants, cafes, post office and a Londis mini-market. In addition there are numerous unique and interesting tourist shops. Nestling in a picturesque valley, Penmachno makes an ideal base for walking or touring the majestic scenery of Snowdonia. There are historic castles, steam railways, slate and copper mines, beautiful lakes and waterfalls all around.
