Selangor is a detached residence of considerable charm and comfort, occupying a south-facing position on the renowned Bar Road at helford Passage. It has been a much cherished second home for the last two decades and this is apparent by the quality of furnishings and attention to detail. Spacious living areas, wonderful gardens and gorgeous water views provide a fantastic setting for a family/group holiday. Selangor is just three minutes walk from the calm waters of the Helford River, a favourite of sea meanders and lovers of tranquillity. The Ferry Boat Inn, a perfect spot to enjoy a waterside drink, is also just three minutes on foot. The Shipwrights Inn, just a short passenger ferry trip across the south bank of the river and a gentle stroll, offers a different perspective on this beautiful area. From Selangor you also have access to some of the most spectacular coastal walks in South Cornwall, as well as Trebah and Glendurgan gardens - paradise for garden enthusiasts. All rooms, apart from the bathrooms in this stunning property, enjoy the southerly aspect of the Helford River. The house is heated by night storage heaters throughout, with under-floor heating to bathrooms and a log-burner in the sitting room.
