Cottages are on North Pennine Hill Farm looking across to Lake District Hills. Hadrian's Wall, the Historic City of Carlisle, the Lake District and the Scottish Borders are all within 30 minutes drive. Excellent walking and birdwatching is available over the fells, now an RSPB bird reserve. Also on the farm to see are the animals, cows, sheep, alpacas, pigs and herd of Exmoor ponies. Cross country cycling too and we have somewhere to store the cycles. Each cottage is self contained, centrally heated, and double glazed and vary in the number of bedrooms from 1 to 3 bedrooms. Last year 2 cottages were fully refurbished and look very good. If you don't want to cook I can provide home-cooked meals using local produce and recipes delivered to your door in the evening. The local pub does good food too and is easy to walk to.
