The cottage at Hall Hills has been awarded 5 stars and is equipped and furnished to the most exacting standards. There are solid oak floors, exposed beams and a private patio with uninterrupted views. As well as central heating there is free broadband and satellite TV combined with an integrated sound system. This is an ideal location for people who want to get away from it all or those who want to explore the gems of Cumbria, including picturesque villages such as Caldbeck. It is also a magnet for lovers of activity holidays. The rural lanes in this part of Cumbria are ideal for cycling. Those who prefer walking in the dales and on the fells of Cumbria will welcome the fact that Hall Hills is only a short drive from the Lake District. The proximity of Carlisle is also a plus - the city has its historic sights and supplies everything you might need on your self-catering holiday. The Scottish Borders, with Hadrian's Wall, are also near at hand. Being just a short drive from the M6, Hall Hills combines convenience with a real sense of having escaped into the countryside. It is a great self-catering base to explore Cumbria.
