One of a pair of single storey cottages it enjoys its own garden. There is golf and fishing at Brampton (8 miles) and cycle hire windsurfing and canoeing at Talkin Tarn Country Park 9 miles away. Carlisle (10 miles) offers a cathedral and a castle together with excellent shopping. Lanercost Abbey is also 10 miles. An excellent area for walking. Shop 8 miles restaurant 2 miles and pub 0.5 miles.
