At the end of the Manifold Valley midway between the market towns of Ashbourne and Leek (6 miles) this smartly furnished cottage is one of a row set in a quiet cul de sac overlooking Waterhouses’ village cricket ground. This is a splendid walking and cycling area – the lovely Manifold Trail leads from the village through Wetton Mill (NT) towards Hartington. Dovedale Blackbrook Park Zoo Alton Towers and Splash Landings are all under 6 miles whilst Chatsworth and Sudbury Hall and the Museum of Childhood (NT) are about 20 miles. Shop and cycle hire 0.25 miles pub serving food 200 yards.
