This 18th Century Grade II, listed, character, stone cottage has been newly renovated to provide a cosy modernised holiday home. The cottage over the centuries has had many uses, originally a beer house and Staging Inn, and later a nail makers shop, the industry for which Belper is well known. The cottage is beamed throughout and upstairs the wood A-framed structure of the cottage is exposed, and stone flagged floors are found on the ground floor. There is a multi fuel stove which makes the cottage a cosy winter retreat as well as an ideal summer holiday home. Fleet Cottage has lovely views from the rear patio over to the Chevin Hills and there are numerous walks from the door. The property is in the heart of Derbyshire's Amber Valley and The Derwent Valley World Heritage Site and ideally set for visits to the nearby Peak Park, with Buxton, Bakewell, Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Dovedale, and Matlock Bath a short drive away. The nationally famous Tramway Musuem, and Alton Towers are close by.
