Enter the cottage into the cosy lounge, with seating for 5 people, a cottage stove fire, TV and DVD. The fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge with freezing compartment, washing machine, microwave oven and dinning area. Please note that the dryer is in an outside building where muddy boots may be kept. Bathroom with shower over. One large bedroom with a king size brass bed with pocket sprung mattress. The second bedroom has a 4' double bed with single over. Central heated throughout with high chair and cot available upon request. A centre for walking in the Peak District, Hartington has much to offer the keen walker. But even those of us who do not wish for such a challenge should not miss the nearby delights of the Manifold Valley, Beresford Dale, and Wolfscote Dale. Biggin Dale is part of the Derbyshire Dales National Nature Reserve. The Tissington and High Peak Trails, largely free of the motor car are popular routes with walkers and cyclists alike. Days out might include: Chatsworth House and Gardens, Kedlestone Hall, Calke Abbey, Carsington Water, Haddon Hall, Buxton Opera House and Pavillion Gardens, Alton Towers, Arbour Low Stone Circle, Biddulph Grange Gardens, Blackbrook World of Birds. Blue Jone Cavern, Pools Cavern, Go Ape - Buxton, Cheddleton Railway Centre, Cauldwells Mill, Eyam House, The Heights of Abraham, Gullivers Kingdon and the National Tramway Museum.
