This owner maintained, well presented property with its low beamed ceilings upstairs, consists of a lounge, kitchen-diner, 2 bedrooms 1 ~ double, 1 ~ twin, bathroom with bath and overhead shower and separate toilet. It has an enclosed pretty cottage garden with garden furniture. Within some 4 miles of the rural market town of Axminster famous for its carpets and also the base for Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage Store and Canteen. Also close by to the bustling little market town of Honiton with its many antique shops along the High Street. There are a number of National Trust properties to visit ~ A la Ronde, Killerton, Montacute and golf, walking, fishing and riding to enjoy in the near vicinity. The village of Dalwood is a typical, sleepy East Devon village set in the Blackdown Hills which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It also has a number of well-preserved thatched properties, not least the ancient Tucker's Arms which serves good food, real ales and fine wines!
