Aylesbury Cottage

Aylesbury Cottage: Is a 2 bedroom cottage with one double and one twin. It has been tastefully furnished throughout equipped with everything you will need for an enjoyable self catering holiday. The Grounds: The extensive grounds form a particularly attractive feature of the property which run down to a stream in the valley. This feeds a coarse fishing lake stocked with carp, bream, tench, roach and rudd which is a great attraction to many guests. Beyond it is a further pond. A long meadow runs along the valley bordered by the stream which is kept mown and forms an extensive recreation area. The grounds extend to 4.5 acres. Location and Amenities: The large market town of Barnstaple, situated on the Taw estuary, is approximately 6 miles away and the coastal resort of Ilfracombe with its recent harbour development is approximately 5 miles to the north of the property. Lower Aylescott is well-placed for the dramatic North Devon coastline which includes some of the best beaches in the South West at Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe. Inland is beautiful, unspoilt countryside to explore, much of it within the Exmoor National Park.
