To the north lie the coastal resorts of Watchet and Minehead and the glories of Exmoor as well as Lynton and Lynmouth with their famous cliff railway. To the south Lyme Regis Sidmouth and Beer are also within easy reach as are Exeter and the majesty of Dartmoor beyond. In the care of the National Trust Killerton and Knightshayes Court are close by whilst Tiverton 7 miles and Taunton 12 miles both offer many local attractions. Shop 5 miles pub 1 mile and restaurant 500 yards.
