Gingerbread Cottage is a pretty, stone and thatched cottage situated in the heart of Chideock, located opposite the village church. The cottage dates back 300 years and has many character features including exposed beams and window seats. Gingerbread Cottage is an ideal holiday escape for a couple or a small family of three. The beach at Seatown is a mile away and is accessible via a pretty bridleway of quaint thatched cottages. Gingerbread Cottage has two pubs within walking distance and a village shop. On the beach at Seatown you also have another pub with seating on the cliff, this makes for a perfect place to sit and watch the waves roll in or take in the views of Golden Cap. Gingerbread Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the local area. Bridport, with its bustling market town, is only 2 miles away and you have Charmouth, Lyme Regis and West Bay only a short drive away. Catching the bus is also an option as the bus runs along the Jurrasic Coast from Exeter to Poole, making regular stops. Gingerbread Cottage offers you a home from home, relaxing break. The cottage is cosy and fully equipped with all you need to relax and enjoy your time away.

A cottage Kitchen with table and 4 chairs. Pine dresser with everything you need to make your stay perfect. Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Kettle, Toaster. The Kitchen opens out on to a secluded courtyard, which is a great place to sit and enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine.
Living Room
The lounge is full of the character you would expect from a 300 year old cottage, original beams and window seat. Stone fireplace with an electric heater. a cosy 3 seater sofa and 2 armchairs. Flat screen TV with built in DVD. Plenty of DVD's, books and games. Carpeted throughout.
