The Hideaway is a short stroll to the Harbour and the North Berwick High Street with the railway station around a 10 min walk. You can be right in the heart of Edinburgh's Princes St in 25 mins. There you will find Art Galleries, Theatres, Cinemas, Shopping and of course Edinburgh Castle. The Scottish Seabird Centre one of Scotland's biggest attractions is only two mins along the seafront. Check out it's award winning displays then enjoy lunch on the wooden deck where you get a bird's eye view of the famous Bass Rock. Grey in Winter it changes colour to a brilliant white each Summer as more and more Gannets build their nests creating this optical illusion. You need to see it! Take one of the daily boat trips in Summer for a close up look. Enjoy a visit to The Museum of Flight now home to Concord spend an afternoon wandering around the exhibit. You can board & take a look around the cockpit. Recommended. The North Berwick Highland Games take place every August likewise the Edinburgh Festival which is attended by visitors from all over the World. We also host a Tennis Tournament and Sailing Week in July and an International Junior Golf Tournament in May. We are on Edinburgh's Golf Coast home to many renowned Golf Courses including British Open Venue Muirfield, North Berwick West Links, Gullane Golf Courses, Luffness New, Dunbar & Kilspindie all within 15 mins drive. The Glen Golf Club is a 2 min walk along the seafront - good golf & lunch with a seaview.

Living Room
The open-plan lounge/kitchen area overlooks a secluded private garden with lawn and patio area. Views of North Berwick Law. There is more living space devoted to a games room with snooker table. The patio is furnished with a wonderful big wooden table with seating for eight where you can enjoy our long summer evenings. There's also a Mexican style chiminea so that the outdoors can be enjoyed on cooler evenings.
