Set on a hill top just 2 miles away are the distinctive mellow Cotswold stone buildings of Stow-on-the-Wold a charming and historic little market town with a good selection of shops inns and eating places. The stunningly beautiful Cotswold landscape dotted with historic houses and picturesque villages is a delight to explore; Moreton-in-Marsh Burford and Chipping Norton are a short drive whilst Broadway’s famous antique shops museums and theatres in Shakespeare’s birthplace Stratford-upon-Avon Cheltenham races and Oxford’s dreaming spires are all under 25 miles. There is lovely walking locally and tennis golf and riding can be enjoyed nearby.
