The king size bed is a treat and this bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Through the gothic windows there are views of the beach and the third bedroom has three foot wide bunk beds. The main bathroom has a bath and there is a downstairs bathroom. Snowdonia is a contrast of rugged mountains and wooded valleys, rushing streams and peaceful lakes, glorious beaches and boat-dotted harbours. Five miles south of Ystumgwern Hall Farm lies the seaside resort of Barmouth on the spectacular Mawddach Estuary. You will find the most glorious ten mile expanse of sandy beaches from Harlech to Barmouth. Visit quaint villages such as Llanbedr, the gateway to Shell Island and Llandanwg with its Celtic church in the sand dunes. Along the sandy shores is the historic town of Harlech with its impressive castle together with the famous Royal St. David's golf course and an excellent theatre. Walkers and cyclists will be delighted with the new routes to be found in the nearby area. The backdrop of our area is the Rhinog mountain range, where you will find some of the most rugged and remote terrain in Wales. Two valleys penetrate the region; Cwm Bychan with its tranquil lake and path to the Roman Steps, and Cwm Nantcol with its challenging peaks, woodland trails and waterfalls.
