As well as being able to sleep a large number, Llys Tanwg (pronounced approximately “Thliss Tanog”) makes for a great place for large family gatherings or friends' getaways as it has lots of different spaces for everyone to hang out together. It can even function as 2 self-contained flats if you wish, each with its own living room (with large TVs and open fires), dining room, fully equipped kitchen and wash area. It is easy to take time out with someone for a conversation or be by yourself to read or let people watch two different DVDs, but the rooms are also big enough for everyone to be together. There are large private and secluded gardens, including woodland areas with some great climbing trees, as well as a log cabin for table tennis, pool, darts and table football. The house was completely refurbished in 2004 to the highest standards throughout. Two fully fitted kitchens and dining rooms, with the upper dining room large enough to seat 14 comfortably. Two bathrooms with toilets, plus 2 separate toilets. Llys Tanwg is an absolutely top-class location for a quiet getaway or a large family gathering, with an endless amount of local activities for all ages and dispositions, or simply the elegant and peaceful atmosphere of the house itself. Before we decided to renovate we considered donating it to the National Trust, who said it would be “one of their finest properties in Wales”.

Two kitchens, one on each floor, each fully equipped. Large dining room for everyone, or also space to split into smaller parties for dining if you wish.
Living Room
There are two large living rooms so that it's easy for large parties to do what they want, or have the children in one area with adults having some quiet in another room. The views are simply stunning, and there's comfortable antique furniture, open fires, TV/DVD/CD/Video, books to read and puzzles to do. Note: as well as a sofabed, there are two fold-out "Z-beds" if you need a couple of extra sleeping spaces.
