The Dairy is a recently converted outbuilding that used to belong to Torberry Farm (no longer working). Copper Beeches the main house was converted in the late 1960's from a Barn into living accommodation. Although Torberry Farm is no longer a working farm, Ian has gone back to his first love, looking after livestock, we have invested in Rare Breed Stock, we have Shetland Cattle (three cows for breeding) on the South Downs, in a conservation grazing area. Dorset Down Sheep (four ewes for breeding) in a paddock in the Village of South Harting. Large Black Pigs (two sows for breeding) in the large back garden. As well as Free Range Chickens and Khaki Campbell Ducks, whose eggs are available. As previously mentioned The Dairy in set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so idea for bird and animal spotting, fantastic walks as well as Uppark (a National Trust property) in the Village of South Harting, one mile away, and the market town of Petersfield, three miles away. Easy to find on the B2146, the A3 (London/Portsmouth) is 5 miles away. Guests from abroad will be interested to know that Petersfield in on the main line to Waterloo for visiting London.

Kitchen
The kitchenette is fully equipped with all you need to do your own catering, with a fridge/freezer, combination microwave oven, four hot rings, toaster, kettle etc. A pine table with four hard chairs. A washing machine is available for your use and an outside line.
Living Room
The living room has a wood burning stove (for those chilly evenings) as well as a night storage heater, TV/DVD player, radio/tape/CD player, books and games. The French Windown opens out onto a patio area, with garden furniture, overlooking open fields and the South Downs, which is about a 15 minutes walk up the public footpath situated opposite The Dairy. There are two double sofa beds to increase the sleeping capacity if needed. Free Broadband(wireless) is also available.
