Welcome cottage is in the pretty village of Avoch on the Black Isle. There is a post office, shop, pub, cash machine and a couple of take-away restaurants in the village. A good sized traditional fisherman's cottage just 100 metres from the Moray Firth, the lounge has an exposed stone wall with a wood burning stove (wood provided), comfortable seating with TV & Video, music centre and some games for your enjoyment. The well equipped kitchen has fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave along with everything you will need to feel at home. Dinning area. The bathroom has an electric power shower over the bath. 2 Bedrooms one of which is a double the other a twin, both are a good size. Quality linen and towels are provided for your comfort. There is no garden with the cottage but does have a small yard to the rear, because of this we do not recommend our cottage for children or pets. There is a no smoking policy within the cottage. The Black Isle is a wonderful place to see dolphins, from Avoch you can take a boat to see them or go to the nearby village of Fortrose and see them at chanonary point, the beach at the next village of Rosemarkie is a delight. For your information we have a 'Welcome letter' which explains how things work in the cottage and points of interest, things to see and do, also telephone numbers to ring if you require any assistance or if you experience any problems at the cottage, someone is always close at hand.
