Caisteal Liath chalets are ideally located on the north-west coast of Sutherland for exploring near and far. It offers an all-year round holiday destination, providing a variety of activities to suite all tastes. From walking to climbing, fishing to sea-angling, bird-watching to playing golf, there is something for everyone to see and do. We have numerous golden, sandy beaches in the area, our closest one being at Achmelvich, only a 5 - 7 minute drive by car. Caisteal Liath chalets are located in the quiet & crofting community of Baddidarrach, on the northern side of Lochinver Bay, with magnificent sea-loch and mountain views. West facing, the balcony at the front of the chalet is an ideal area to sit out at and relax taking in the Highland air and watching the fishing fleet returning to harbour with their catch. This property has stunning views and is very comfortably furnished and equipped and is an ideal 'home from home'. A twenty minute walk from the cottage takes you into the village of Lochinver for all local amenities: butcher, pub and restaurants, small supermarket, petrol station, post office, newsagent, gift shop, hardware store and leisure centre.

Kitchen
The fully fitted kitchen is very well equipped with fully fitted units. It has a full size dishwasher, ceramic hob cooker with a double oven and grill, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine/tumble dryer, extractor, coffee-maker, electric carving knife, ample pans, crockery and cutlery, utensils and cleaning materials are all supplied.
Living Room
The living room/dinning area has all the comforts of a 'home from home,' with dinning table and chairs, new leather sofa and chair, coffee table, an electric fire, colour television, video recorder and fitted carpet throughout. Tourist information books and maps are all provided to let you study the area from the comfort of your chalet.
Other Rooms
The fully tiled shower-room has chrome accessories, a corner, instant heat shower, w.c., wash hand basin, an illuminated mirrored wall cabinet with an electric shaver point inside, wall heater and chrome heated towel rail.
