Ideally located on the north-west coast of Sutherland for exploring near and far. It offers an all-year round holiday destination, providing a variety of activities to suite all tastes. From walking to climbing, fishing to sea-angling, bird-watching to playing golf, there is something for everyone to see and do. We have numerous golden, sandy beaches in the area, our closest one being at Achmelvich, only a 5 - 7 minute drive by car. Caisteal Liath chalets are located in the quiet & crofting community of Baddidarrach, on the northern side of Lochinver Bay, with magnificent sea-loch and mountain views. South facing, the balcony at the front of the chalet is an ideal suntrap to sit out at and relax taking in the Highland air and watching the fishing fleet returning to harbour with their catch. This property has stunning views and is an ideal 'home from home'. A twenty minute walk from the chalet takes you into the village of Lochinver for all local amenities: butcher, pub and restaurants, small supermarket, petrol station, post office, newsagent, gift shop, hardware store and leisure centre.

Kitchen
The newly fitted kitchen is very well equipped with a full size dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer, ceramic hob cooker, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee-maker, electric carving knife, ample pans, crockery and cutlery, utensils and cleaning materials are all supplied.
Living Room
The open plan living room/dinning room has all 'home comforts with dinning table and chairs, new leather suite, coffee table, electric fire, colour television, video recorder, hi-fi and fitted carpet throughout. There is a large window in the living area and a large patio door in the dinning area where you can gaze out at the stunning scenery.
Other Rooms
Bathroom has a corner power shower and a corner jacuzzi bath, ideal for relaxing in after a hard day out walking in the hillside.
